Amicus Curiae Brief Filed Defending Non-Profit Entities from Constitutional Liability in Federal Courts

Law Offices of Carson J. Tucker has filed a comprehensive brief addressing federal constitutional liability for private, for-profit and not-for-profit entities under 42 U.S. Code § 1983. Such claims are especially prevalent in a time of increased privatization of government services, and litigation and liability can lead to enormous costs in the way not only of judgments, but also for attorneys’ fees and punitive damages.
