Attorney Carson J. Tucker earned his Juris Doctorate and Master’s Degree in Environmental Law from the Vermont Law School, which has been consistently ranked as one of the top environmental law and policy graduate programs in the world.
During his studies Mr. Tucker served as the Environmental Editor on the Vermont Law Review and was a copy-editor of the first edition of The Regulation of Toxic and Hazardous Substances, John S. Applegate, Jan Laitos, Celia Campbell-Mohn (Foundation Press 2000).
Throughout his career, whether as law clerk to the Michigan Supreme Court, staff judge advocate for a 146,000 acre military training installation, insurance coverage and defense counsel for global insurers and reinsurers, national litigation attorney, or appellate and amicus curiae counsel, Mr. Tucker has utilized his specialised expertise and knowledge in this complex and dynamic area of the law as a force multiplier in addressing client needs.
Multiple state and federal regulatory controls exist to address the impact of private and public action upon the environment. Mr. Tucker’s education and background has given him the ability to analyze legal issues concerning the environment from the broadest possible perspective taking into account all ecological concerns and policy matters within existing legal parameters.
